A tattoo artist but also a painter since his early childhood, AROME, born in 2001, is a French artist who has always been passionate about creation of all kinds. After studying art and obtaining a degree, he became interested in the art of tattooing, which he currently practices alongside painting. Influenced by the underground punk and techno scene, he represents moments of life anchored in his memory with all the passion and energy of his youth.
In his painting, he likes to mix different styles, between Byzantine art and neo-expressionism, with a psychedelic touch that invites you to travel within yourself. AROME has a graphic and pictorial vocabulary which offers an obvious resonance to certain great artists as emblematic as Jean-Michel Basquiat for example. Art is the history of art in a certain way. The sensitive being thus feeds on past and current creations, “digests" them and then constructs its unique work. AROME likes to work with different techniques such as pastel, Indian ink, markers and acrylic.
