"French-Italian artist Ludovica Cholet was born in Paris in 1995. Mainly inspired by the beauty of the strange, travel or flowers, she tells her story through female characters, living in a poetic universe, inspired by the French poet Baudelaire as well as the Japanese animation director: Hayao Miyazaki.
Notions of dreams and the imaginary are recurring subjects for the artist, expressed in her canvases and sketches, with the desire to bring more sunshine into melancholy."
